Counseling of Youth Is on the Rise due to all the Temptations they Face in our “Modern Society”
This past month a woman brought in her teenage son from a neighboring state who was dealing with some heavy spirit activity due to his dabbling in witchcraft and allowing a spirit to continue to molest him sexually at night. Two years ago, he went into a trance and became unable to speak and communicate like he once was able. It was a five-hour session with assistance from a local Atlanta pastor, his youth pastor, Diane and three men from our home church here in Dallas, Georgia. The spirit refused to leave as the boy was unwilling to renounce and give up the spirit activity since he found “pleasure” in it.

Then there is the 10-year-old girl in the Carolinas, a 13-year-old boy in Florida, an 18-year-old girl in Georgia and an 18-year-old girl in Ohio. All five of these young counselees have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior but, as are all of us to one degree or another, they are battling with the old fallen sin nature, the temptations of the world, and the forces of evil. Ephesians 6:10 tells us that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places…”

In each case, there is spirit activity involved due to their personal involvement in sinful activities, and at times generational spirit activity passed down from curses connected with unconfessed sin of previous generations, that can open the door to evil spirits in their souls that need to be evicted (this is not possession).

One parent recently told me that she was unaware of the seriousness of what her teenager was involved in as he dabbled in the occult and witchcraft.

Another parent’s son was utilizing a book of spells for teenagers and when upset with the parents or siblings he was placing spells on the family members, a dangerous activity. Books for children and teens involving sexual and occult activities are available now in libraries and in the book section at discount department stores to name a few.

Several years ago, a 3rd grader at a Christian School was sent to me for counseling. During class he would move objects located on the teacher’s desk while still seated at his desk. Needless to say, it was very disturbing to the teacher. Evil spirits were involved.

Parents need to be educated and be aware of what their children are involved in. We offer a presentation to help educate your church members to the spirit realm in person or via the internet, to fit your schedule.

The economy is affecting us here at the Center as we are working with quite a few individuals who are only able to pay very little due to their struggling to just pay basic family bills and needs. We never refuse to counsel a needy individual due to inability to pay. Although times are very tight right now, we find that our blessed Lord Jesus has laid it on the hearts of individuals to donate to the needs of the Center and we thank those of you who are not only praying for the Center as well as those we are counseling, but also find it possible to send a donation. Thank you and thank you Jesus as we know that every cent that comes through donations is a gift from You as You laid it on the doner’s hearts to give.
