Since January 15th we have scheduled a total of 118 Counseling Sessions in eleven States and 3 Foreign Countries
Prayer and Financial Partners, Thank you for Blessing the Center the Past Seven Weeks

Your prayer and financial assistance may not seem all that important but it is. Your prayers are vital and your contributions help offset the many individuals who seek counseling but are unable to provide much in return. For instance I worked with one woman who was making $12 an hour and supporting three young children on her own. So I asked if she would be willing to pay the Center $12 a session. It’s important that the counselee have some “skin in the game” thus more serious about the counseling and the work involved. So financially without your help we would not be able to remain in operation. Thanks so much.

Recent Call as Expert Witness in a Court Case in Mississippi

In the past several years I have served as an expert witness in three court cases, Civil, Family and Criminal. It’s been an interesting experience. In one case I was called as an expert witness by the State of Florida in a case and went on the stand at 9:00am, and except for a break for lunch, left the stand at 4:00pm. Long interesting day dealing with demonization and the two defense attorneys examining me didn’t know quite how to handle questions concerning a person who was heavily demonized.

In another court case, a young man had been arrested and held in a county jail in Florida for three months charged with attempted murder by trying to drown a young boy in the ocean. He was a believer and stated he was only trying to do right by baptizing the boy after he trusted Christ as Savior. There had been spirit activity involved. I was sent to interview the young man in a county jail and present my findings. The day of the deposition all charges were dropped and the young man was set free.

I had been called a couple months ago and asked if I would be willing to act as an expert witness in a court case in Mississippi. Then I was interviewed in February by an attorney about being called as an expert witness in the court case concerning a Christian ministry in their state. They will be sending me the case information for my study and review. My health could prevent me from physically going to Mississippi when the court date is set but the court there is set up for testifying remotely so I would not have to present myself in person in court.

Please pray that I will know the Lord’s will in taking on the responsibility, and as I review the case, I will be able to get clarity and understanding as to how to effectively testify.

Greetings from Roger and Diane

Diane and I are praying that 2024 is going well for each of you, our prayer and financial partners. We pray for all of you daily, our prayer and financial partners, that our Lord will bless you abundantly.

One of our granddaughters, Abbey, is beginning a two-month training program to become a bomb sniffing dog handler at an airport. During the two months she will be paired and trained with the dog. So, Angela drove her to our home for the weekend before she

continued on to Alabama and Angela returned to Ohio. Needless to say, we are always glad to see family come in from out of state.

Health wise I am still in a lot of pain and losing sleep sometimes at night due to the rheumatoid arthritis, which along with the osteoarthritis keeps me working right now on adjusting medications and doing what is necessary so that I can continue (I’ll be 79 in June) in this ministry the Lord has called me into. Diane is such a great wife and “nurse,” and I thank the Lord for her. She truly is my helpmate.

Now we are looking forward to a new year of serving the Lord in counseling with His assistance. Afterall, Jesus is the wonderful counselor and I’m not. I always remind counselees of the fact that they need Him more than they do me as I see myself only as a facilitator while Jesus leads in the counseling. And, I might add, He is an amazing counselor. To our blessed Lord Jesus be all glory!

Once again, we would like to thank all our prayer and financial partners for your support during 2023 and ask that you, please continue to partner as our blessed Lord Jesus directs in 2024.

God bless you!

During the last five weeks, having taken a break between Christmas & New Years, we scheduled a total of 73 Counseling Sessions in ten States

Additionally, we have recently received inquiries from Canada and a referral from Australia. We are awaiting intake forms at this time.

Different Counseling Environments

It’s interesting the different environments in which I have worked with counselees seeking privacy as we work online. Some include parking in McDonalds parking lot and connecting with their internet, in a deer stand in the woods, in their cars in a remote location, driver meeting with me on her School bus, on a boat on a lake, in a prison with the permission of authorities, and in a private Christian University where, even though they had counselors, set up each week a private area where we could counsel a student via internet.

Prayer & Financial Partners

Income dropped in 2023 due to health issues which caused at first a slowdown and then a halt in counseling for a period of time. But thanks to our faithful prayer partners and financial supporters who have been a vital part of this ministry through the years, donations continue to be fairly steady. Jesus has led you, and you have faithfully followed His direction. Thank you once again for all you have done through the years, and for not giving up on this ministry through the difficult times in 2023, but continued to do as the Lord lead. Thank you sooooo much. And to God be the glory.

Jesus is Amazing!

I have to tell you what happened recently that shows Jesus is even concerned about the small details in our lives. I had to take Diane to see a doctor and it was horrible weather and greater than 2 inches of rain had already fallen. The wind was blowing over 20 mph, and there were storms in the area. From past experience I knew the doctor’s office was located with a large parking lot which was usually full of cars making it hard to find a parking spot.

And I was to drop Diane off, then park the car and walk to the doctor’s office in these weather conditions. So I prayed and asked Jesus to give us a parking spot right in front of this doctors outside door. Pulling into the facility the lot was full of cars. However, 20 feet from the door was a parking place. Perfect! Thank you Lord! Some may say it was just a coincidence, but having experienced His love so many times both in the large needs and the small needs, I know it was no coincidence. Thank you Jesus once again. He loves and cares for His children. He loves all of you just as much. He will never leave or forsake us so put all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.

Greetings from Roger and Diane

Diane and I would like to wish you a happy, and prosperous New Year and, as always, we pray for all of you daily, our prayer and financial partners, that our blessed Lord will bless you abundantly in 2024. We had a blessed Christmas season spending time with family over Christmas, and then, the Saturday night of New Years weekend I was sitting there watching television and the doorbell rang. I thought, who could that be? I wasn’t expecting anyone.

(It turns out Diane knew more than I did). When I went to the door to my amazement there stood daughters Angela and Melissa and granddaughter Madelyn looking in at me. What a pleasant surprise it was. They had Informed Diane earlier of their impending trip from Ohio but, as sometimes happens, I was left in the dark about the visit.

Adding to the evening, Julie and her family came in later and so we had a pleasant house full. Needless to say beds were scarce but we made do. Now we are looking forward to a new year of serving the Lord in counseling with His assistance. Afterall, Jesus is the wonderful counselor and I’m not. I always remind counselees of the fact that they need Him more than they do me, as I see myself only as a facilitator while Jesus leads in the counseling. And, I might add, He is an amazing counselor. Donation tax receipts are enclosed. If you have any questions or there is an error please give us a call and we will correct accordingly. Once again we would like to thank all our prayer and financial partners for your support during 2023 and ask that you please continue to partner as our blessed Lord Jesus directs in 2024. God bless you.

God bless you!

After Suspending Counseling for Several Weeks for Medical Reasons, We have Resumed with 56 Sessions since Sept. 1st. in 9 States & Germany
As we begin our 27th Year of Ministry Under the Direction of the Lord Jesus, Let’s look back at His Ministry.

The Center was Incorporated in South Dakota on August 12, 1997 as a non-profit Ministry. Since that time the Lord has opened doors for ministry work in 31 states and 16 countries on 6 continents with training material translated in 3 languages. Counselees have flown in to the Center from as far away as New York, California, West Africa, and N. Vietnam. Seminars on Spiritual Warfare have been conducted in 7 states and 3 foreign countries. Training was also conducted during Wednesday evening service at a church in Australia. In 2009 I presented at the Christian Medical & Dental Association National Convention at Ridgecrest Conference Center, Ridgecrest, N.C. on the subject “Dealing with the Demonic in a Clinical Healthcare Setting.” This being an outcome of their doctors and dentists I led on mission trips to Haiti and the demonic situations and miracles they personally witnessed. Also, I’ve been called as an expert witness in three court cases, with one criminal case involving the demonic and attempted murder.

Prayer and Financial Partners You are so Appreciated. Thank you!

What has made all this possible? The faithful prayer partners and financial supporters who have been a vital part of this ministry through the years.

Jesus has led you and you have faithfully followed His direction. Thank you once again for all you have done through the years and continue to do as the Lord leads.

Extending An Invitation!

The Lord tells us in Ephesians 6:10 and following that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Furthermore, in John 14:12 our Savior Jesus states that “Truly, truly I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to the Father.” This includes all of us as believers in Jesus Christ.

Among past training events, I have taught on spiritual warfare and our authority in Jesus Christ during Wednesday evening service at a church in Australia via video.

I would like to extend to your Church or study group an offer to teach on our enemy and how to deal with evil as born-again believers and be victorious through our relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior. This can be accomplished on your schedule via video. If your church or group has a screen and a computer, it can be easily accomplished also with the ability for Q & A.

The charge? In order to offer this to large and small Churches and Church groups we only ask for a love offering, if that is possible. Our intent is to educate and strengthen the local Church and believers. Money is not the factor as to whether we are willing. If interested call the Center and discuss how we might help your ministry with a training event.

Greetings from Roger and Diane

I am happy to say that after a Summer and Fall of dealing with health issues I am feeling well and moving forward in ministry. The medication for the lung disease and Rheumatoid arthritis appears to be having the desired effect and the foot injury under the right foot, after about 3 and 1/2 months of healing and restrictions in walking and not driving a car has just about completely healed now. I must say when the doctor gave me clearance to be able to drive again that first drive was an experience.

Diane has been a trooper through all of this and has seen to my every need. What a blessing she has been, and I couldn’t want a better wife and “nurse.”

Now as life finally moves forward again, we are planning on finally making it out to Alabama next weekend to see Jackson play football and Kye play in the marching band. The drive is not long, maybe an hour and a half so I believe I can sit that long.

Then in the next several weeks Amy and the family will be visiting us from Ohio and we are so looking forward to their arrival.

Thanks for all your prayers and financial support as we went through this personal battle with health this past several months. It is now time to move forward in ministry. As long as I have strength and breath, I want to continue serving Jesus. Someday I just want to hear Him say “well done good and faithful servant.”

Prayer and financial partners just please continue to partner as our blessed Lord Jesus directs.

God bless you!

July 15th to September 1 –
65 Counseling Sessions were Scheduled
A Counseling LOW for 1 1/2 Months — But Why?

Included were Sessions in Germany

Why So Few Sessions?

After the Emergency Room episode on my birthday, June 2nd, I was instructed to consult with a Rheumatologist and a Pulmonary Medicine Doctor, I was already consulting with an Orthopedic Surgeon who was treating a wound on the bottom of one of my feet and I had been instructed to remain completely off the foot.

My appointment with the Pulmonary Medicine Doctor turned out to be a surprise. He diagnosed me with Lung Disease and scheduled additional tests. He also was able to go back through records to find old chest x-rays and informed me that the disease was showing up as far back as 5 years ago but I was never informed by my family doctor who had ordered the test.

That appointment with the Pulmonary Medicine doctor took place on July 25th.

Then on August 9th I had an appointment with a Rheumatologist who diagnosed me with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was familiar with Arthritis which has played havoc with my joints for years, but this? Interesting! I had been experiencing a lot of pain for some time and had recently been given a steroid prescription by my family doctor until I could complete this appointment. The Rheumatologist gave me steroid medication also, and it has helped reduce the pain while at the same time being told by all of them that the medication would inhibit the healing of the open wound on the bottom of the foot. I had been off my foot for 2+ months now. With all the doctor appointments, tests, having to remain immobile and at home, and the pain, I chose to concentrate on getting well and therefore greatly reduced the counseling sessions during the last six weeks.

Then this past Monday I had a follow-up appointment with the Orthopedic Surgeon who has been seeing me every couple weeks to keep close eye on my foot. Monday, he did release me to walk on that foot in house only. I am not to walk out in the yard even but just small steps room to room. I will be seeing him again next week for a recheck.

On September 8th I have a virtual appointment with the Rheumatologist then on 19th of September more tests and an appointment with the Pulmonary Doctor.

So, What Lies Ahead in Ministry

For the last month I have chosen to greatly reduce my counseling in order to concentrate on getting my health under control. Now 9 doctor appointments and other tests later I am ready to move forward. Around the 1st of August I notified my counselees that I would not be available, with a few major exceptions, to see them until the first of September due to my health. I made reference to another Christian Counselor if they preferred.

I will begin seeing counselees beginning Monday, September 4th. I know, it’s Labor Day but the two I will be seeing have many needs and I cannot ignore them.

I would be hopeful that our prayer and financial partners would continue with us so that we can get back to the ministry the Lord Jesus has placed us in for 26+ years now and which we plan to continue serving Him in as long as health permits and He tarries His return at the rapture of the Church.

Prayer partners please consider keeping us in your daily prayers both for our health and for the counselees nationally and internationally.

Prayer and Financial Partners You are so Appreciated. Thank you!

Financial partners, we would not have made it through the last six weeks had it not been for your prayerful support. We thank the Lord each day for His leadership in directing

all of our prayer and financial partners to give. We know the prayers and financial support are coming in as partners listen to the Lord and follow His leading. Thank you partners and thank you dear Jesus.

Please Continue to give as our blessed Lord Jesus directs. God bless you!

June 1st, 2023 to July 15th there were 97 Counseling Sessions Scheduled with 38% of them Cancelled

There were 97 hours of counseling scheduled between June 1st, and July 15th in 14 states and internationally counseling sessions were conducted in Germany. However, 37 hours or 38% had to be cancelled due to illness.

It all began on June 2nd, my 78th Birthday when I was taken to the Emergency Room.

After spending 71/2 hours, I was released with a diagnosis of Pneumonia, and an infected wound on the bottom of my right foot. 2 antibiotics were prescribed. Then three days later I was notified that a blood culture had been completed and I was put on a third antibiotic which was then removed two days later as another doctor said it was not necessary and that the first two prescribed would be all that was necessary. After spending two weeks out of service and resting, I have slowly started seeing counselees again along with an orthopedic surgeon, and the family doctor. I am scheduled to see a Pulmonary Disease Doctor as follow-up after Pneumonia and a Rheumatologist to check for the possibility of Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am feeling much better and have gotten back to a fairly regular counseling schedule in the last 2 weeks. The foot wound is still healing, and I am praying it is completely healed in short order.

Prayer and Financial Partners You are so Appreciated. Thank you!

Prayer partners, I appreciate your continued prayers. Financial partners, I do appreciate your donations to the Center as the finances are a little bit tight right now.

Contacted About Testifying as an Expert Witness in a Criminal Case in Illinois

An attorney in Illinois has contacted me about my willingness to testify in a pending criminal case involving a church ministry in Illinois, I have sent my curriculum vitae which reflects my experience giving expert testimony in criminal and family court. My last experience testifying in criminal court was testifying for the State of Florida in a case where I took the stand at 9:00 in the morning, and except for lunch break, was on the stand all day until court adjourned at 4pm. Time will tell whether I’ll be called.

Greetings from Roger and Diane Boehm

With pneumonia I was instructed to remain at home (except for doctor appointments and to rest. Additionally, due to the wound on the bottom of my right foot I was to remain off the foot with a wheelchair being ordered so that I could get around the house with Diane’s assistance. Well, that wasn’t going to work when we measured the doors inside the house as they were all too small to allow the wheelchair to pass through.  How about crutches we thought? No, a bad shoulder needing replacing. Well, OK, what about the knee scooter? Wrong again since the last time I needed a knee

scooter one of my replaced knees and the scooter, shall we say, didn’t get along well. Oh well! Just been staying off the foot just as much as I possibly can with Diane seeing that my needs are met by serving me as I sit in a recliner, and she served me. She has been wonderful.
