Children in Danger Presentation

 Our Youth are Playing with Fire

On the average, when Christian High School Students are surveyed we find these startling results

·         45% say they have experienced a “presence” in their room that scared them.

·         60% say they have harbored bad thoughts about God.

·         40% find it mentally hard to pray and read their Bible.

·         70% report hearing “voices” in their head, like there was a subconscious voice talking to them.

·         20% say they frequently entertain thoughts of suicide.

 WHY?

Consider:

bullet A teenage boy is brought in for counseling by his parents.  He is saved, attends youth activities on Wednesday evening at his church, but has become involved in Wicca at his middle school.  He is unwilling to give up the occult activities involved with Wicca because he has been casting curses and spells and finds they work.  He enjoys the power.
bullet A seven-year-old boy is brought in for counseling.  He is out of control and upset that his parents will not allow him to carry a condom to school.  He states it is a sign of his manhood among the other boys his age if he has one in is pocket.  And that’s just the beginning of the saga.
bullet A teenage girl is brought for counseling who is demonized (not possessed).  When the spirits are confronted they state they gained entry to the girl while playing “light as a feather stiff as a board” during an overnight sleepover at their church.

 Presentation for Adults:

The topics are designed to educate and heighten awareness of dangerous activities our children and teens are constantly being tempted by the world around them to be involved in, why these activities are dangerous, and what can be done.

 

Presentation for Youth Groups:

The topics are presented appropriately considering the age group to heighten awareness, why these activities are dangerous, and what can be done if involvement has already taken place.

 Time Needs for a Presentation:

Typically, for adults plan on a minimum 1 ½ hours for a powerpoint presentation not including a time for questions at the conclusion.

 For youth two sessions are recommended.  Prior to the first session the youth would be asked to complete an anonymous Spiritual Experience Inventory which would be compiled.  A general presentation of approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours would then take place.  After compiling the results of the Inventory, a second session would include discussing specific problems with the particular youth group including any questions.  Both sessions could be completed on the same day or could be split into two evening sessions.

 Both adult and youth presentations would be designed into the time frame of the church or group making the request.

 Presentation may vary as new schemes are marketed in our society.

 

Finances:

Dr. Boehm conducts this presentation primarily on a love offering basis plus travel and accommodation expenses for Seminars out of the area.

Concentrated Counseling

 

The Center offers concentrated counseling for those individuals who may live some distance from the Center. 

 

If planned in advance the Center will set aside a block of time each day for several days or a week to deal on a concentrated bases with such issues as demonization and Dissociative Identity Disorders (formerly Multiple Personality Disorder) to name but a few.

 

Contact Dr. Roger Boehm to discuss the possibility of concentrated counseling.  The first step would be to contact Dr. Boehm at the Center for Christian Counseling to discuss the problem and how concentrated counseling may help.

 

Once an individual has chosen to do concentrated counseling a time and program will be set.  A deposit along with necessary forms will be required to be received in the office no later than 2 weeks prior to the scheduled counseling. 

 

For those flying in, the closest airport to Titusville is Orlando International.  There are numerous hotels and motels in the Titusville area.  This could also be utilized as a time of relaxation for loved ones who may be providing emotional support for a counselee as there are numerous entertainment and sites of interest.  The Kennedy Space Center is located in Titusville and Orlando offers many family oriented amusement parks.

Spiritual Warfare Seminar

Consider:

bullet Two women come in for counseling independent of one another.  Both have the same story.  They grew up in generational Satanist families and were ritually abused by the local coven.  However, both families were also heavily involved in a local, large Baptist church.  One of the fathers was a deacon.  The fathers would pull their girls out of Sunday School Class and take them to an unused room on the second floor of the educational building.  There the father would stand outside the door and “guard” while another Satanist member of the church would sexually abuse the girl.  Both women were suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder.  One of the women stated she finally told her Sunday School teacher what was happening only to be told by the teacher she was lying and should be ashamed.  The church even today has many spiritual problems even though the men are no longer there.  Wonder why!  The men were satanic plants in the church and the leadership of the church never new.

 

bullet A Christian couple buy a beautiful, large home and are extremely uncomfortable living in it.  The home is put on the market but no one wants to buy it.  Their Christian friends don’t visit anymore.  What’s the problem?  They have purchased the home from a pornography kingpin who had lived there.  No telling what kinds of sinful activities took place in the home prior to the purchase.  The home was gone through with the couple and in every room the spirits were commanded to leave as the home was claimed as a place where Christians could live in peace.  The home became a comfortable place to live, and the Christians friends began to return almost immediately.  Why?  It was no longer inhabited by untold numbers of evil spirits.

 

bullet A Christian couple go on a honeymoon to Savannah, Georgia.  Savannah is known as the spirit capital of the U.S.  They stay in a Bed & Breakfast which is said to be haunted and go on the ghost tours.  One night in their room at the Bed & Breakfast they see a figure and are severely frightened.  Later in counseling we encounter a spirit that stated it gained entry to them that evening and its job was to destroy their marriage.  The couple are now happily married and the spirit is no longer a part of their life.

 

Why?:

Because in our churches we choose not to discuss spiritual warfare and the battle the Bible clearly states we are a part of.   As conservative Christians we are afraid we will be labeled as something we are not.  Our seminaries hardly address the issue.  Consequently there are people in our churches who are not enjoying the joy of their Salvation, who are defeated Christians, who don’t realize what their struggling against and the victory they have in Jesus Christ.
